BALANCE + CONTROL
We'll work on the basic balance and bike-handling skills that help young riders feel comfortable and in control.
STARTING + STOPPING
Kids will practice getting started, slowing down, stopping safely, and becoming more confident on the bike.
RIDING WITH CONFIDENCE
We'll put the skills together and help each rider work toward independently riding at their own pace.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
This event is designed for kids ages 8–12 who have not yet learned to ride independently or who are still working on the basics.
No previous cycling experience is required.
This is a beginner-focused class — kids do not need to know how to ride before attending.
Are any purchases final sale?
ARE BIKES PROVIDED?
JCBC will provide bikes and helmets for the lesson, so your child does not need to own a bicycle to participate.
If your child already has a properly fitting bike they are learning on, contact us before the event and we can let you know whether they should bring it.
