Shipping Policy

Please review our shipping policy carefully before placing your order. All orders require 2-3 business days to process & ship within within 5-7 business days, depending on your location.

Upon receiving your order, we will do our best to ship within the specified timeframe. However, unforeseen events such as severe weather or riots may cause delays. We appreciate your understanding that The Jersey City Bicycle Company cannot be held liable for such occurrences.

To ensure secure transactions, The Jersey City Bicycle Company may contact customers to verify orders, which could result in delays. Transit times may vary based on proximity to our warehouse and product availability.

How Do I Know When My Order Has Shipped?

You'll receive an email/SMS notification once your order has been dispatched, containing tracking information.

Handling Damaged Items During Transit

While we take every precaution in packaging, damage may occur during transit. If your items arrive damaged, please refuse delivery and have the driver note the reason as "damaged." If refusal isn't possible or damage is concealed, notify us and the courier immediately.

Shipping-related damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Take photos of the damage and request a confirmation or claim number from the courier. Then, open a support ticket with The Jersey City Bicycle Company, including photos and the confirmation number. Retain the original packaging.

Delivery Terms

Orders over $200 and warranty replacements will require a signature upon delivery unless otherwise requested by the customer or under special circumstances.

Deliveries typically occur between 8 AM and 8 PM and must be signed for. Packages returned due to failed delivery attempts will incur a $35 reshipping fee. Refused packages (excluding damaged items during transit) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If your package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you'll be responsible for all redelivery costs to correct the address. The Jersey City Bicycle Company is not liable for orders lost due to incomplete or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
