Order a part or accessory from our website, choose in-store pickup, and bring your bike — we’ll install it for free when you pick up. Most installs take about 5–20 minutes, done while you wait at the shop in Hamilton Park.
How it works
- Order online and choose in-store pickup at checkout.
- We’ll text you when your order is ready (if a part needs to be ordered in, we’ll let you know when it lands).
- Bring your bike to the shop — 231 Pavonia Ave, Jersey City — and we’ll install your purchase free at pickup.
What’s included
Free installation on items bought from us: racks, fenders, lights, locks, pedals, saddles, grips and bar tape, tires and tubes, bottle cages, baskets, bells, and bike computer mounts.
The fine print
- Free installation applies to parts and accessories purchased from The Jersey City Bicycle Company. Parts bought elsewhere are installed at our standard labor rates.
- Bigger jobs — drivetrain swaps, brake bleeds, wheel builds, suspension work, and e-bike electrical work — are service jobs at our regular menu prices; the pickup visit is a good time to book them.
- E-bike electrical work is done only on brands we sell; mechanical work on any brand.
- If an install needs more than about 20 minutes on the stand, we’ll quote it as service before starting — no surprises.
- Installations are by appointment — booking ahead ensures a mechanic is on the premises and ready when you arrive. Call or text (551) 229-7894 to book yours.
