How does Kids Ride Club work?
Choose your membership, then schedule your child’s first fitting with JCBC. We’ll help find the right bike size and get you set up for your first rental. As your child grows, we can move them into the next appropriate size, subject to availability.
What’s included?
Each membership includes up to 4 rental days per month, access to a properly sized Kids Ride Club bike, a helmet and lock with each rental, basic bike adjustments, priority reservations, and member pricing on additional rental days when available.
What happens when my child outgrows the bike?
That’s the whole idea. Bring them back and we’ll help size them for the next appropriate Kids Ride Club bike. Size changes are subject to available inventory.
Do we keep the bike between rental days?
No. Kids Ride Club is a rental membership rather than a bike lease. You reserve the bike for your scheduled rental day, pick it up from JCBC, enjoy your ride, and return it at the end of the rental period.
Do unused rental days roll over?
No. Your membership includes up to four rental days during each membership month. Unused days do not roll over and have no cash value.
Do I need to reserve a bike in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance. Bikes are subject to size and date availability, and specific models or colors cannot be guaranteed.
Can we ride more than four days in a month?
Yes, when bikes are available. Ride Club members receive special member pricing on additional rental days.
Is a helmet included?
Yes. A helmet and bike lock are included with each Kids Ride Club rental.
