  industry standards and best practices to ensure proper operation and safety at the time of service completion. Due to normal wear and tear, riding conditions, and the pre-existing condition of the bicycle or its components, additional maintenance or repairs may be required over time. We offer complimentary minor adjustments within 72 hours of service completion to address normal component settling or fine-tuning directly related to the original service performed (such as cable tension adjustments, brake or derailleur alignment checks, or bolt re-torque). This courtesy does not include additional repairs, replacement parts, flat tire repairs, tube or tire replacements, wheel truing, diagnostics, or issues resulting from riding conditions, impact, misuse, or the pre-existing condition of the bicycle. After this period, all further adjustments or repairs are subject to standard service fees.Disclaimer:

  All flat tire repairs, tube replacements, and tire installations are provided as a completed service at the time of pickup and are not covered by any warranty or guarantee. While The Jersey City Bicycle Company. performs a visual and functional inspection of the tire, tube, rim, and wheel during service, we cannot guarantee against future flats or failures caused by road conditions, debris, riding habits, environmental factors, or the pre-existing condition or wear of the tire, tube, rim, or wheel. By authorizing service and completing payment, the customer acknowledges that the service was performed as described and accepts the inherent risks associated with bicycle use. The Jersey City Bicycle Company is not responsible for subsequent punctures, air loss, mechanical issues, or tire failures occurring after service completion.

  Flat Repair Disclaimer

A flat tire repair addresses only the puncture or damaged inner tube present at the time of service. Bicycle tires and tubes are wear items and may become punctured again immediately after service due to road hazards, debris, improper tire pressure, rim damage, worn tires, defective rim tape, or other conditions beyond our control.

While we inspect the tire and wheel during the repair, we cannot guarantee against future flats or air loss after the bicycle leaves our shop.

If the tire is found to be excessively worn, cracked, damaged, or otherwise unsafe, replacement will be recommended. Declining a recommended tire replacement may increase the likelihood of future flats.

By authorizing a flat repair, the customer acknowledges that flat tire repairs are not warrantied against future punctures or subsequent air loss caused by normal riding conditions.
