  • Removed, inspected, and reinstalled the customer's bottom bracket.

  • Removed and installed the customer's stem.

  • Removed and installed the customer's handlebar.

Technician Notes

This bicycle was built using the customer's supplied Surly Midnight Special frame. The customer's Bianchi donor bicycle wa  disassembled, and all compatible components—including the crankset, bottom bracket, stem, handlebar, saddle, and seatpost—were professionally transferred to the new frame. New components were installed where required to complete the build. The bicycle has been fully assembled, adjusted, safety inspected, and test ridden to ensure proper function and is ready for pickup upon payment of the remaining balance.

Custom Build Disclaimer

This bicycle was assembled using a combination of customer-supplied components and newly installed parts. All reused components were visually inspected and installed in accordance with industry standards; however, previously used parts are not covered under any warranty by The Jersey City Bicycle Company.

Due to the custom nature of this build, compatibility, performance, noise, and future serviceability may differ from an original factory-built bicycle. Minor adjustments may be required during the normal break-in period as components settle into place.

The Jersey City Bicycle Company warrants only the labor performed during assembly. Manufacturer warranties, if any, apply only to newly purchased components. Customer-supplied parts are installed at the customer's request and are accepted as-is. We cannot guarantee the lifespan, reliability, or future performance of used or previously installed components.

By accepting delivery of this bicycle, the customer acknowledges that the build has been completed according to the agreed specifications, has passed our final safety inspection and test ride, and assumes responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and care of the bicycle. All custom build sales and labor are final and are non-refundable.
