Professional Bike Assembly — Built Right from Day One

Bought a bike online? Let The Jersey City Bicycle Co. assemble it correctly, safely, and professionally — so you can ride sooner and protect your investment.

Every bike assembly includes a Quick Tune, our multi-point safety and performance check that verifies:

  • Proper torque across all critical components

  • Accurate shifting and brake adjustment

  • Correct headset preload and bearing setup

  • Tire inflation to manufacturer specifications

  • Overall ride safety and function

We don’t just “put bikes together.” We calibrate them.

Your bike will be unpacked, assembled, adjusted to factory specs, and test-checked so it’s truly ready for the streets of Jersey City, Hoboken, and beyond — no skipped steps, no loose bolts, no guesswork.

⚠️ Assembly Pricing & Important Eligibility Notes

Standard Bike Assembly

  • Designed for traditional bikes with external cable routing

  • Mechanical drivetrains only

  • Basic out-of-box assembly and tuning

Specialty / Performance Bike Assembly

Starting at $125+ (final price quoted at drop-off)

Specialty assembly is required for:

  • Bikes with internal cable routing

  • Electronic shifting systems (Di2, AXS, etc.)

  • Performance road, gravel, carbon, or high-end builds

  • E-bikes and complex drivetrains

🚫 Bikes with internal cable routing or electronic shifting are NOT eligible for “standard assembly.”
